Lead Graphics Programmer

We are looking for a Lead Graphics Programmer, who will be primarily responsible for developing and enhancing the graphics engine for a massively multiplayer online game.


Responsibilities

  • Create a next-generation graphics engine
  • Work closely with technical artists to implement new graphics features
  • Maintain an excellent art integration pipeline
  • Write sustainable, bug-free code

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable working within a team environment that encourages software engineering, technical design documentation, coding standards and code reviews
  • 4+ years professional programming experience using C++
  • Experience with graphics engine programming on a shipped title
  • Experience with Direct3D shader programming
  • Solid knowledge of graphics algorithms, graphics hardware capabilities, and 3D mathematics
  • Solid understanding of performance and memory usage profiling and optimizations
  • Experience with multithreaded programming
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates is essential
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Previous game industry/MMO development experience preferred
  • Avid MMO gamer preferred
